Before you swap it
- A CR2016 is 1.6 mm thick. CR2025 and CR2032 look the same from the front, but they aren't the same cell, and a thinner one can rattle or lose contact.
- Keep the old cell until the new one works. If the car still won't respond, the new cell is usually in the wrong way up.
Quick answers
Which battery goes in the Peugeot 107 key (2005–2014)?
One CR2016 3V lithium coin cell.
Is DL2016 the same as CR2016?
Yes. DL2016, ECR2016 and KECR2016 are all the same cell as CR2016, sold under another name.
Will a CR2032 fit instead of a CR2016?
No. It's the same 20 mm width but 3.2 mm thick, against 1.6 mm for a CR2016. Use a CR2016.
